A protestor in an Orioles jersey stormed the Iraqi Parliament building Saturday.

On Saturday, protesters in Baghdad, emboldened by Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr's speech about government corruption, stormed the Iraqi Parliament building.

Also on Saturday, the Orioles lost to the Chicago White Sox, 8-7.

The above photo, taken by Haidar Mohammed Ali of Agence France-Presse/Getty Images, features maybe the only person in the world deeply invested in both events.

Iraq's biggest Orioles fan is seen waving the Iraqi flag inside the country's Parliament building after breaking into Baghdad's heavily fortified "Green Zone," a normally off-limits area housing government buildings.

Baseball: truly an international game.
