The Baltimore Brigade will host kids day today when it faces the Albany Empire at Royal Farms Arena at 3 p.m. All attendees under the age of 9 can receive free admission. Additionally, the Brigade and the Smithsonian Natural History Museum will host STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities around the arena concourse. Carhart's six goals paceMount in women's lacrosse

Taylor Carhart (Manchester Valley) scored a game-high six goals to lead host Mount St. Mary's (9-6, 4-2 Northeast Conference) to a 16-5 rout over Central Connecticut State (2-13, 1-5). The victory clinched a playoff berth for Mount St. Mary's, the first since 2015. ... Sam Apuzzo scored four goals, including her 75th of the season, to lead No. 2 Boston College (19-0) to a 17-7 rout over Notre Dame (10-9) in an Atlantic Coast Conference semifinal at Duke. Andie Aldave (McDonogh) scored twice for the Fighting Irish. ... Sophia Castillo had three goals and three assists to lead No. 13 Colorado (13-4) to a 16-6 rout over visiting Oregon (9-9) in a Pac-12 semifinal. ... Ryder Garnsey, who finished with five goals, scored twice during a 4-0 run late in the fourth quarter as No. 18 Notre Dame (7-5) took the lead for good and upset No. 2 Duke (12-3) in an Atlantic Coast Conference semifinal, 14-11. ... Baseball: Trey McGough pitched a one-hitter to lead Mount St. Mary's past Sacred Heart, 7-0. ... Senior Kevin Biondic notched a pair of hits for Maryland (17-24) in a 4-2 loss to Michigan State.

Men's track & field: Coppin State's 400 and 800 relays qualified for today's championships with impressive showings in the heats of the Penn Relays on Friday. Coppin's Keshaun Hodges, Joseph Amoah, Martin Owusu-Antwi and Aaron Lewis finished ninth of 65 teams in the 400 and Hodges, Amoah, Babadeji Balogun and Devin Teagle finished third in the 800.
