Junior goalkeeper Andrew Wascavage has started Towson's first three contests and registered an 11.33 goals-against average and a .493 save percentage. Senior Travis Love started in the Tigers' 10-8 victory over Mount St. Mary's March 3 and has posted a 9.00 goals-against average and a .571 save percentage.
So which goalie will get the nod against Navy Tuesday night? Coach Shawn Nadelen said he's going with Wascavage.
"I think we're going to go with Andrew and see if he keeps it rolling from there," Nadelen said Monday evening. "I think both guys have played well in practice. … But I just feel like Travis hasn't played any more to earn a starting spot. So I guess you could say it's Andrew's turn in rotation as far as starting."
