Ronda Rousey is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Friday's Orioles-Royals game as UFC promotes its Saturday pay-per-view in Baltimore.
The women's bantamweight champion is not on the card for Saturday's UFC 172 at Baltimore Arena, but she will make an appearance Friday at Camden Yards, according to a spokesman for the promotion.
She's also scheduled to take part in a tailgate party before Saturday's fights.
Rousey is 9-0 in the UFC, last beating Sara McMann in February. Her next title defense is scheduled for July 5 in Las Vegas against Alexis Davis.
Light heavyweight champion Jon "Bones" Jones -- the younger brother of former Ravens defensive lineman Arthur Jones -- is headlining Saturday's card in Baltimore against Glover Teixeira.
There is one women's fight on the card, featuring Jessamyn Duke -- Rousey's pupil on "The Ultimate Fighter" -- against Bethe Correia. That bout will be part of the preliminary card televised on Fox Sports 1. The five pay-per-view bouts begin at 10 p.m.
