Maryland continues to hold onto the No. 2 spot in the Inside Lacrosse Brine Division I Women's Media Top 20 behind No. 1 North Carolina, the defending national champion.

Johns Hopkins, off to the best start in its Division I history at 9-0, continues its rise, hopping over Northwestern and Massachusetts to No. 7.
Navy's lack of schedule strength is beginning to hurt as the Midshipmen fall from No. 11 to No. 14 despite an 8-0 record. They haven't played a ranked team while the three teams that jumped over the Mids -- No. 11 Penn, No. 12 Stanford and No. 13 Penn State -- have wins over ranked teams or teams that received votes.
Loyola's 7-6 win over Towson last week sent the teams in opposite directions as the Greyhounds moved up from No. 17 to No. 16 and the Tigers dropped from 18th to 19th.
