It might prove costly, but Ravens rookie defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan made the most of his first day in the snow Wednesday in Owings Mills.

The former Florida State Seminole and Lake City, Fla., native said he woke up Tuesday after arriving back from New Orleans to a warm fall day. A day later, he had to drive to practice in the snow — his first time ever seeing it. He wasn't sure he'd be able to drive home in it.

After practice in the team's field house and a post-practice workout Wednesday afternoon, Jernigan went outside and a team employee taught him how to begin a snowman.
