Of all the teams in professional sports whose players you'd expect to be sensitive to women's issues, the Ravens should be better equipped than most. Should be.
Which makes defensive tackle Carl Davis' comments Tuesday night on Twitter, since deleted, all the more puzzling.
A Ravens spokesman said "Carl speaks for himself."
The context of the comments is lacking, but Davis should know better. Not even two weeks ago, Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians was branded a sexist by some for saying that it's "not dads, it's moms" who are concerned about the safey of football.
