Carolina Panthers defensive end Ryan Delaire might not play in Super Bowl 50, hanging for the moment in active-inactive limbo with Jared Allen expected to play Sunday, but as a wise man once said, it's not about how you play the game, but how you do at media day.

Not only did Delaire avoid talking puppets and clowns in aprons on Monday, the former Towson University star also got to hang out with Steve Harvey's biggest fan.

That's Delaire, in dreadlocks, dancing with Miss Universe, aka Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines. She's the one in the sash and tiara.

And because part of my job is now apparently documenting local athletes dabbing, here's Delaire with Wurtzbach.

An All-Colonial Athletic Association selection who went undrafted, Delaire has 2 1/2 sacks and eight tackles in nine games with Carolina this season. The last Tiger to play in the Super Bowl is Jermon Bushrod, with the New Orleans Saints in 2010.
