Maryland senior attacker Alex Aust was named Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Aust, who also won Offensive Player of the Week honors last week, notched 19 points in a pair of wins against UMBC and No. 7 Penn State. Against the Retrievers, Aust racked up a career-best 11 points — one shy of the Terps single-game record — including a program-record seven assists.
Division III women: For the fourth consecutive week, Salisbury (4-0) sits at No. 2 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Top 20.
Boys: Michael LeClair had three goals and three assists to power host Mount St. Joseph (2-0) to an 8-2 victory over St. John's (D.C.). Colin Reymann made 12 saves for the Gaels, who next host John Carroll on Friday at 4 p.m. ... Shack Stanwick had a goal and four assists to lead Boys' Latin (2-0) past host St. Andrew's (Fla.), 14-4. The Lakers, who beat Lake Highland Prep (Fla.), 13-9, on Saturday, will host Penn Charter (Pa.) on Friday at 4 p.m.
