A move to the midfield paid big dividends for Mount St. Mary's senior Andrew Scalley (Archbishop Spalding), who was named the Northeast Conference men's lacrosse Player of the Week for the fifth time this season.
Scalley factored in on six of the Mount's 10 goals in a 10-9 win over first-place Bryant on Saturday. The senior, who typically plays attack, recorded two goals and four assists to push his league-leading point total to 63. Scalley scored a pair of goals in the second quarter and dished out assists on both Mount tallies in the fourth quarter.
Scalley, who has won NEC Player of the Week honors eight times in his career, has 63 points on 28 goals and 35 assists this season. The six-point game against Bryant moved Scalley into second place on the Mount's all-time points list with 217.
More Division I men's honors: Loyola long-stick midfielder Scott Ratliff was chosen as the Eastern College Athletic Conference Specialist of the Week. Ratliff scored two goals and had an assist on the offensive end in a 19-11 win at Hobart on Saturday, and defensively he posted three caused turnovers and seven ground balls. ... Ohio State freshman defenseman Robby Haus (Gilman) was selected as the ECAC Rookie of the Week. Haus had a career-high tying four ground balls and was a leader on a defense that held Air Force to just two second-half goals as the Buckeyes came from behind to post a 10-9 win over the Falcons. ... Brown senior midfielder Alex Jones (Severn) was named to the Ivy League honor roll.
Division III men's honor: Frostburg State junior attackman Ryan Serio (Chesapeake-Anne Arundel) was named Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Navy's DePompeo, Generi pick up Patriot League honors
Senior attacker Jasmine DePompeo and sophomore attacker Loren Generi were honored after leading the No. 12 Navy women's lacrosse team to double-overtime victories over Jacksonville and American last week. DePompeo was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for a league-record sixth time this season, and Generi was tabbed as the Midfield Player of the Week. DePompeo leads the league and the NCAA in total points (114) and is ranked second with 62 assists.
More honors: Salisbury senior Katie Bollhorst (St. Mary's) collected the Capital Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award for second time this season. Bollhorst not only scored eight goals and added nine assists in three wins, including two against nationally ranked opponents, but her second assist against CAC foe Frostburg State on Saturday was the 150th of her career, giving her the most in program history. ... Loyola sophomore attacker Annie Thomas (John Carroll) was selected to the Big East Conference honor roll.
Division III result: Notre Dame of Maryland lost, 12-5, to host Immaculata in a game that decided who would host Saturday's Colonial States Athletic Conference playoff matchup. With the loss, the Gators (7-6, 4-4) will now return to Immaculata to face the Mighty Macs (9-6, 5-3) in the first round.
Major League Lacrosse
15 games to be broadcast on YouTube
Major League Lacrosse announced that YouTube will carry 15 games this season in high definition exclusively at YouTube.com/MLL in partnership with The Lacrosse Network. TLN is also working with Google to provide an enhanced viewing experience, including a feature that would allow fans to interact with commentators and participate in Google Hangouts during games.
The first game to be carried on YouTube will be between the Boston Cannons and the New York Lizards on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The Chesapeake Bayhawks games that will be aired are: June 29 at Hamilton Nationals, 7 p.m., and July 6 at Ohio Machine, 7:30 p.m.
Play-by-play duties will be handled by a variety of commentators, with Steve Warzala taking the bulk of the games and Eamon McAnaney, Todd Bell, Mike Evans and Jon Meterparel filling in. Andrew "Buggs" Combs (Maryland, Calvert Hall), Brendan McDaniel, Ron Zwerin, Brett Manney and Brian Shanahan will serve as analysts.
