Michael Phelps 'busier than ever' but still shooting down rumors of a return to swimming

Earlier this week during an interview with a TV station in Maine, Michael Phelps said "I'm retired. I love it. It's fun." But the winner of the most medals in Olympic history is also busier than ever, saying "I'm on the road constantly. I'm always traveling."

The swimmer's latest adventure took him to Shanghai, China, this morning, where he and Under Armour founder and owner Kevin Plank opened the newest "Under Armour Experience" at the Jing An Kerry Centre.

Phelps wasn't kidding about his travel schedule. Saying he's "never at home," Phelps was in Saco, Maine, this week to show off the Michael Phelps Skills Center before leaving for China.

He again tried to put to rest rumors that he's returning to competitive swimming.

"I've said nothing about a comeback," Phelps told Bill Green of WCSH in Maine on Tuesday. "I have said nothing about a comeback. It's everybody else opening their mouths and saying comments that they think I'm going to do or think that I said. I've never said anything publicly."
