After four games of starting senior goalie Pat McEnerney, No. 15 Loyola Maryland might make a change in the net for Saturday's 2 p.m. game against No. 20 Lehigh at Ridley Athletic Complex.

Coach Charley Toomey acknowledged Thursday afternoon that he is considering opening the game with freshman Grant Limone in goal for the Greyhounds (2-2 overall, 0-1 in the Patriot League) against their conference rival. Limone has recorded a 10.33 goals-against average and a .450 save percentage primarily as a second-half replacement for McEnerney, who has a 10.90 goals-against average and a .385 save percentage.

Asked who will start against Lehigh (2-1, 1-0), Toomey said: "I could see Limone starting, but I could also see P-Mac starting. We haven't declared it. I feel like it's probably Grant's turn to get the go in there."

Neither goalie played very well in Saturday's 13-12 loss to Holy Cross. McEnerney gave up seven goals and made just one save before getting pulled with 3:52 left in the second quarter for Limone, who gave up six goals and made three stops.

All seven goals McEnerney allowed were either from in front of the cage or on the crease, while Limone permitted three point-blank goals. That's why Toomey was having difficulty evaluating the goalkeepers' performances.

"I couldn't take much away other than that on Saturday, we've got to give them a chance, and that's what we've really concentrated on," he said. "I couldn't pinpoint it as clearing, I couldn't pinpoint it as the guy that made more saves, I couldn't pinpoint it on any one thing other than the five or six guys in front of them.

"So I have to look at the goalie and ask, 'Who's the best leader? Who can get more out of the guys in front of him?' So that's what we've tried to talk about this week, the leadership side of it and just worrying about the next goal and not the last goal."
