Loyola Maryland's Jen Adams was named Patriot League women's lacrosse Coach of the Year on Monday and Navy's Jenna Collins was named Midfielder of the Year -- both for the second straight time. Mids freshman Kelly Larkin was named Rookie of the Year.
The Greyhounds have gone undefeated through the Patriot League all four years since they joined and Adams has won three of four Coach of the Year honors.
Five Loyola players were named to the All-Patriot League first team: attackers Cami Whiteford (Severn) and Hannah Powers, midfielder Taylor VanThof, and defenders Bailey Mathis and Kristen Yanchoris (Century).
Navy landed three players on first team: Collins (River Hill), attacker Morgan Young (Towson) and defender Blake Smith (Notre Dame Prep).
In addition to being the two-time Midfielder of the Year, Collins, a junior, is on the first team for the third time. Her 80 points rank second in the conference. She has 55 goals and 25 assists.
