Loyola freshman attackman Zach Herreweyers and junior defenseman Joe Fletcher were named the ECAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, after helping the Greyhounds to a pair of road victories.
It marked the second week in a row that Fletcher received the defensive honor and the second week in a row a Loyola attackman received offensive laurels, following Justin Ward (Old Mill), who was the Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Herreweyers scored a total of seven goals in wins at Georgetown and Michigan, and Fletcher helped the defense hold the Hoyas and Wolverines to a combined 11 goals.
More Division I: Towson junior attackman Thomas DeNapoli earned CAA Player of the Week honors after totaling eight goals and four assists. ... St. John's senior goalie Jeff Lowman (Severna Park) was selected as the Big East Defensive Player of the Week after making 34 saves in a 2-0 week. He had a career-high 19 saves Tuesday in a 7-6 win against Hofstra. Ten of the 19 saves came in the second half to seal the victory. Against Robert Morris on Saturday, Lowman had 15 saves. He has recorded 41 stops in his last three games. ... Harvard sophomore goalie Harry Krieger (St. Paul's) was named Ivy League Player of the Week.
Division III: Washington College junior attackman Jim Cusick (Hereford) was chosen as the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week. ... St. Mary's junior midfielder Ben Love (McDonogh) was named CAC Offensive Player of the Week, and Seahawks senior goalie Scott Marsh (South River) was the Defensive Player of the Week. ... Salisbury (9-2) held on to the No. 7 spot in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association coaches' poll for the third straight week.

Navy's DePompeo earns threepeat in Patriot League
For the third straight week, Navy senior attacker Jasmine DePompeo was chosen as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week. DePompeo scored 11 points to help Navy earn victories last week against George Washington and Lafayette. DePompeo leads the Patriot League in both points per game (6.18) and assists per game (3.00). She recently moved into fifth place on the Patriot League career scoring chart with 277 points, and her 129 assists are just five shy of tying the league's career assists record.
More Division I: Loyola sophomore Taryn VanThof was named the Big East Defensive Player of the Week. The midfielder finished the week with six points, five caused turnovers, five ground balls and 10 draw controls. On Friday night against Louisville, VanThof helped the Greyhounds shut down the Cardinals in the final 30 minutes as Loyola scored eight of nine second-half goals to earn an 11-6 victory. ... Johns Hopkins freshman midfielder Dene' DiMartino was chosen as the American Lacrosse Conference Rookie of the Week. ... Princeton sophomore attacker Erin McMunn (Winters Mill) was honored as the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week.
Division III: Senior attacker Lauren Feusahrens (St. Mary's Ryken) was named Capital Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after scoring five goals to lead No. 2 Salisbury to a 13-7 win over No. 8 Franklin & Marshall on Sunday. Feusahrens leads the team with 25 goals and is second on the team with 30 points. With her effort against the Dipolmats, Feusahrens passed Amanda Almon (1999-2002) for 10th all-time on the program's goal-scoring list with 118. ... Washington College sophomore midfielder Emily Hubley was chosen as the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Clinic: Towson will host a free clinic after its 1 p.m. home game April 14 against Old Dominion. The clinic will run from about 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event is open to children from kindergarten to eighth grade.
