Shenandoah announced that Tim Marshall, a 2003 Calvert Hall grad, has accepted the university's offer to become men's coach.
Marshall served for the past two seasons as the defensive coordinator at his college alma mater, Dickinson. Marshall helped the Red Devils to a 33-5 record, including an 18-1 mark in 2013. Dickinson ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation in 2013 and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals for the second time in three seasons.
Prior to that, Marshall was an assistant coach for one year at Skidmore (N.Y.) and for three seasons at Scranton, including serving as interim head coach in 2010.
Former Towson U. goalie Teeters joins William & Mary
William & Mary women's head coach Hillary Fratzke has announced the hiring of fellow former Towson University All-American Mary Teeters (Centennial) as an assistant coach.
Teeters joins the Tribe after spending last season as an assistant coach at Vermont. A former goalie, Teeters worked primarily with that position and also assisted with the defense. Teeters helped a program-record seven Catamounts garner All-America East honors last season, including goalie Charlotte Lyons.
At Towson, Teeters helped the Tigers win two Colonial Athletic Association titles and earn three NCAA tournament bids. A four-time All-CAA selection, Teeters also garnered first-team all-region distinction twice and was honored as an IWLCA All-American as a senior.
