The Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team will open the season with a pair of home games, hosting Ohio State in its only pre-noon start of the season Feb. 9 before Towson comes to Homewood Field on Feb. 15.
The Blue Jays are coming off a season in which the program failed to reach the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1971, the year the event debuted as an eight-team tourney.
Hopkins will play five other teams that made the tournament last season, including four in a five-game stretch with home contests against national runner-up Syracuse (March 15), North Carolina (March 29), Albany (April 4) and Maryland (April 12). The other game in that span is a March 22 visit to perennial Atlantic Coast Conference contender Virginia.
The Blue Jays close the season May 3 with a game at Loyola Maryland.
