Penn State senior safety Adrian Amos, a former Calvert Hall standout, has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2015 Senior Bowl, the Senior Bowl announced Monday.

The Senior Bowl is the preeminent postseason college All-Star game and provides a great opportunity for college seniors to showcase their skills to NFL personnel in advance of the draft.

Amos, who has been a full-time starter for the Nittany Lions since his sophomore season in 2012, had 44 tackles and two interceptions while starting every game at cornerback as a sophomore.

He had 50 tackles and an interception while splitting time between cornerback and safety as a junior last year, and he has 25 tackles, two interceptions and five pass breakups in nine games at safety this season.

NFLDraftScout.com ranks the 6-foot, 210-pound senior as the sixth-best free safety prospect for the 2015 NFL draft and projects him to be selected in the fourth or fifth round.
