Wisconsin's governor soon will be enjoying a bushel of blue crabs (Old Bay and all) courtesy of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan.

Hogan said in a Facebook post Friday that he made a bet with Gov. Scott Walker on the Redskins-Packers playoff game. Hogan bet a bushel of Maryland blue crabs, Old Bay and a case of Flying Dog. If the Redskins had won, Hogan would have gotten Wisconsin cheese and sausage, Andes Candies and Leinenkugel beer. The Redskins lost 35-18 at FedEx Field in Landover on Sunday.

Hogan posted Sunday, "Not the outcome we had hoped for but congratulations to the Washington Redskins for a great season and the Green Bay Packers for advancing to the next round of the playoffs. Looks like Governor Scott Walker has a bushel of blue crabs coming his way!"

Hogan, who attended the playoff game, did catch some flak from Facebook readers who pointed out that the Washington Redskins are not a "Maryland team."

He would have been better off betting Walker on the Terps-Wisconsin basketball game. The Terps beat the Badgers 63-60 Saturday on a last second three-pointer from point guard Melo Trimble.

Hogan said in his Friday Facebook post, "I thought about doubling down on the Maryland vs. Wisconsin basketball game. But figured Scott Walker was too smart to bet against the Terps!"
