It's not by chance that he's the only player with three Orioles World Series rings, one for each of the team's titles. The winningest pitcher in club history, Palmer logged 268 victories and posted eight 20-win seasons in a 19-year career starting in 1965. The Hall of Fame right-hander won three Cy Young Awards and four Gold Gloves, rebounding time and again from arm woes. His 53 shutouts are a club record.
