113. Frank "Home Run" Baker, baseball

One of three Hall of Famers born on the Eastern Shore, Baker led the American League in home runs for four years (1911-1914), hitting 42 homers during that stretch of the dead-ball era. The deft-fielding third baseman hit .307 lifetime and led the Philadelphia Athletics to three world championships, including 1911 when he homered off Hall of Famers Christy Mathewson and Rube Marquard to beat the New York Giants.
