It's a wonderful world where one of the first things featured in a five-minute long video on the MLB playoffs is an Orioles vignette, isn't it?
Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston, of "Breaking Bad," tells the story of his one-man baseball show in the TBS commercial, with throwback references to Kirk Gibson's pinch-hit home run, Carlton Fisk's Game 6 home run at Fenway Park, and last year's Red Sox home run that featured a Boston cop's infamous celebration.
At the 1:15 mark, Cranston brings it to the here and now. In a home white Orioles jersey, Cranston conducts a postgame interview with himself and spouts platitudes about team, hard work, and a positive attitude before going full Adam Jones on himself and smashing a pie in his face.
No word on what flavor it was, or whether he came to Dangerously Delicious Pies to get it.
The video also features an organ player playing Wiz Khalifa, Cranston hitting fans with pitches from the stage, and the Under Armour-sponsored ballerina Misty Copeland. Come for the pies, stay for everything else.
