This alley-oop dunk highlight from Stevenson is worth your time

The NBA's slam dunk contest is less than two weeks away, and contestants looking for a fresh idea need not look any further than Owings Mills.

The highlight slam posted above came during Stevenson University's 74-58 home win over Arcadia on Saturday.

Senior Justin Kuntz hauled down a rebound on the defensive end and, from behind the Mustangs' own free-throw line, he launched an outlet pass that junior Sean Farr caught on a bounce and dunked.

The 6-foot-5 Farr is from Baltimore and played at Dunbar. Kuntz starred at Glen Burnie High.

I'm told the clip has been submitted to ESPN for "Top Plays" consideration. Whether it makes the cut or not, you can tell your friends you saw it here first.

If you're curious how Stevenson is doing, the Mustangs (14-5) have won five straight and play at home Wednesday night against Albright. Stevenson's women are on an even more impressive run, having won 14 in a row.
