The Ravens’ loss to Seattle was highlighted by a poor performance from the special teams. Kick returner David Reed fumbled twice, forcing the Ravens to search for a new return man. Torrey Smith, Lardarius Webb and Chris Carr are all options. Kicker Billy Cundiff missed two 50-plus yard field goals and is now 1-for-6 from that distance this season and 21-for-27 overall. Even normally reliable punter Sam Koch had a 28-yard punt, setting up a late Seahawks’ field goal. The Ravens are averaging 26.1 yards per kick return and 7.8 yards per punt return, while allowing 32.8 yards and 10.6 respectively. Special teams has been a relative strength for the Bengals as kicker Mike Nugent is 17-for-18 on field goal attempts and punter Kevin Huber is 13th in the NFL with a 39.5 net average and ranks seventh with 15 punts inside the 20-yard-line. Brandon Tate, a former New England Patriot, is the Bengals primary return man. He returned a punt for a 56-yard touchdown earlier this season. EDGE: BENGALS
