Adam Jones, he of the ubiquitous Orioles pie-in-the-face celebration, will be eating some pie of the humble variety next year, thanks to a bet he made with Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen over last night's Ravens-Steelers game.

Jones, the star Orioles center fielder, suggested to McCutchen that they make a wager just before kickoff Sunday morning, and after some Twitter back-and-forth, they settled on simple stakes. If the Ravens won, McCutchen would have to rock a Terrell Suggs jersey at his home park in Pittsburgh, and if the Steelers prevailed at home, Jones would have to take a picture of himself in a Ben Roethlisberger jersey at Camden Yards and tweet it out.

Here's the tweet that will commemorate the bet for eternity.

I can see a world where such a picture doesn't go over well in Baltimore, so when Jones pays this bet forward, remember it's not of malice on his part. Instead, it's more because Roethlisberger torched the Ravens for six touchdowns. We'll see when he pays up.
