Dylan Bundy: 4.58

The one person in the bullpen who hasn’t performed lately is Dylan Bundy, who has struck out just 4.58 batters per nine innings. That ranks him 166th out of 173 pitchers who have made relief appearances in the majors this year (despite a moderate whiff percentage — the rate of balls that are swung on and missed). He’s still learning to pitch in the big leagues, and hasn’t been regularly on the mound like this in games since late in 2014. But his recent performances have been bummers for him, and the fact that so many hitters are putting him in play is partially why. (Source: Fangraphs)
