Brad Brach: 25.6

Brach’s transformation into a lock-down reliever has coincided with him throwing his changeup more often than ever before. He’s throwing the pitch 25.6 percent of the time after uncorking it just 14.3 percent of the time in 2013 and 2014. It has allowed Brach to have a weapon against left-handers, against whom the ball fades away. It also puts the thought of another pitch in hitters’ heads, as Brach already features a mid-90s fastball and a slider. He nearly doubled his career changeup rate in 2015, when Brach established himself as a go-to reliever. In the two-year span, opponents are batting .178 off of it with 39 strikeouts. Before that, they hit .255 off his changeup. (Source: Brooks Baseball)
