Ravens receiver/return specialist Jacoby Jones will present a check from the Ravens to New Orleans
mayor Mitch Landrieu and police superintendent Ronal Serpas at a press conference on Wednesday in New Orleans.
The team wants to show it's appreciation for the city services afforded the team during it's stay in the Big Easy in late January and early February.
Nice touch. The Ravens are still aglow from their Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco
49ers and obviously have some fond memories of their stay in New Orleans. Jones
is the perfect ambassador for the team, since he – like Ravens safety Ed Reed –
is from the area.
Of course, the only question here is, why didn't the Ravens release this information
sooner so some of us could spend another week in New Orleans covering this
