Joe Flacco didn't dominate the game, but he managed it well under a lot of duress. The Ravens didn't have good field position in the first quarter, but Flacco didn't have a turnover despite constant pressure. The Ravens were 8 of 16 on third-down conversions, and Flacco threw some nice touch passes to Torrey Smith down the sidelines and across the middle. Grade: C+.

Second-year player Bernard Pierce replaced Ray Rice as the starter, and he didn't have many holes in the first half. When he did have one or two, he missed them, especially on cutbacks. But in the second half, he dominated the Texans and got stronger as the game went on. Overall, a solid though unspectacular effort from Pierce. Grade: C.
