Port Deposit: Preparations for Cecil’s Relay for Life under way

Congratulations to Lisa Tome and new hubby, Bobby Holmes, as they were united in marriage on March 16 at the Charlestown Fire Hall. Lisa organized a group several years ago, with members in Harford and Cecil counties, to benefit youngsters in our local schools. Lisa’s group, the APWGAD, supports three drives each year: food debt in the spring, school supplies in the summer, and full Christmas each winter. She ran the recent food drive while coordinating her wedding plans.

Birthday wishes are sent out this week to John Colenda of Perryville and his twin sister Gina Colenda Peirce of Rising Sun as they celebrated on March 16. Pat Bitner and Jamie Haley blew out their birthday candles on March 20 as well. Jennifer Tennis and Michael Fox were birthday celebrants on March 21.
