Internationally renowned performance artist Marina Abramovic will visit the UC San Diego Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination for a new project in January when a group, selected from volunteers, will engage in a free, three-day, video-recorded Abramovic Method workshop.

The long-researched Abramovic Method teaches mindfulness, concentration and endurance. So, naturally, there will be no breaks for meals.

People interested in performance, art or science and who have experience with yoga, dance, meditation, athletics or other long-durational practice will be prioritized.

To be considered for this unique opportunity, submit the online form, located at imagination.ucsd.edu/abramovic, before midnight Friday, Jan. 2.
