Adat Chaim to hold High Holiday services

Adat Chaim Synagogue is holding High Holiday services from Sept. 24 to Oct. 4. Rosh Hashanah services will be held Sept. 24 beginning at 6:30 p.m.; Sept. 25 beginning at 9:30 a.m.; and Sept. 26 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Yom Kippur services will be held Oct. 3 beginning at 6:15 p.m. and Oct. 4 beginning at 9:30 a.m. The services will be held at the synagogue at 10989 Red Run Blvd., Ste. 109 in Owings Mills. JCS to hold parenting discussion

Jewish Community Services will host the discussion, Beyond the Nest: Parenting Your Young Adult, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 6. The event is part of the JCS Parenting Discussion Series, and will focus on ways in which individuals can best adjust their parenting style as their children reach adulthood. The discussion will be led by JCS therapist Joan Cohen. It will be held at the JCS Owings Mills office at 3506 Gwynnbrook Ave. The series is open to the public and pre-registration is required for each discussion.
