Jewish High Holy Day services to be held

Rabbi David Greenspoon is holding independent services for the Jewish High Holy Days for people interested in a contemporary approach to traditional services. The services will be held at the Fellowship Hall at 109 Main Street in Reisterstown. Services for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and continue at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. Services for Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, start with Kol Nidre at 6:45 p.m. on the evening of Friday, Oct. 3, and resume Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Yizkor memorial prayers will be recited around 11 a.m.
