The following fiction and nonfiction titles will be available at Baltimore County Public Library as of May 10.

Burns takes readers on a tour of the first year of the 1920s, and even history buffs may be surprised at the amount of culture-changing events that took place in those 365 days.

"Summer Cocktails" by Maria del Mar Sacasa

The sun is out. Get ready for porch parties, picnics and lighter fare with this guide to warm weather drinks and eats.

"One Year" by Mary McDonough

Mary McDonough is best known for her years playing Erin Walton on the '70s TV series "The Waltons." She joins the gentle romance game with her debut novel featuring a similar rural Virginia setting and three generations of women who make their home there.

"The Dead Key" by D. M. Pulley

When engineer Iris is given a job to determine if the long-shuttered First Bank of Cleveland can be renovated, she discovers abandoned safe deposit boxes and a mysterious key for box 547. But she's not the first person to discover this key. Pulley's mystery novel was the winner of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award for mystery/thriller in 2014.
