CSG Partners, LLC acquires property in Owings Mills

CSG Partners, LLC, a Baltimore-based commercial real estate development and investment firm, recently announced its purchase of the combined four building office/flex portfolio Owings Mills Business Center and Owings Mills Corporate Center. The company, which purchased the over 180,000 square-foot property for $13 million, said they intend to improve the interior and exterior appearance of the buildings through a variety of landscaping projects including renovating the parking fields around each building and enhancing signs and facades.

Junior Achievement appoints director

Junior Achievement of Central Maryland, based in Owings Mills, recently hired Chris Bugher as its director of secondary education and outreach. In her new position, Bugher will direct all school and volunteer recruiting, training and program management, as well as monitor and promote programs. Bugher, who has a bachelor's degree in psychology/elementary education from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and a master's degree in education, reading/learning disabilities from Johns Hopkins University, held several business and education-related jobs before her appointment to this position. Her experience includes work as a teacher, reading specialist, educational consultant, business owner and nonprofit executive director. She also has prior experience with Junior Achievement, as she participated in some of its programs as a student.

ROMG Chamber to host holiday party

The Reisterstown/Owings Mills/Glyndon Chamber of Commerce will host a holiday party from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9. It will be held at The Grill at Harryman House at 340 Main St. in Reisterstown. Cost is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. A cash bar will be available.
