Community theater to hold variety show fundraiser
Open Space Arts, a nonprofit community theater at 16 Hanover Road in Reisterstown, is holding its inaugural variety show fundraiser at 7 p.m. Jan. 17. The evening will feature performances of songs, sketches and poems. Proceeds will go toward the theater's production of "Peter Pan" in February. A $10 donation is suggested.
International Guitar Night coming to Owings Mills
As part of his January/February 2015 North American tour, International Guitar Night founder Brian Gore will perform with Californian classical musician Andrew York, Brazilian jazz master Diego Figueiredo and contemporary Iranian-Canadian steel strong prodigy Maneli Jamal. The performance will come to the Gordon Center for Performing Arts in Owings Mills at 8 p.m. Feb. 7.
