Reisterstown to celebrate National Night Out

Reisterstown will celebrate National Night Out in the Chartley Park Shopping Center, 106 Chartley Dr. from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 4. The national event was designed more than 30 years ago to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness and to generate support and participation in local anti-crime programs. The Reisterstown celebration has been expanded to include demonstrations and displays in safety, emergency preparedness, health, environmental and community activities. This year's event will feature the county's mobile command center, a BGE high voltage safety demonstration, a self-defense demonstration, and more.
