Har Sinai rabbi named president of Baltimore Board of Rabbis
Rabbi Benjamin Sharff, of Har Sinai Congregation in Owings Mills, was recently named the president of the Baltimore Board of Rabbis, a forum through which rabbis discuss and promote community issues, work to promote mutual support between congregations, organizations and agencies, and serve as a resource for Jewish education and information. Sharff has been the rabbi at Har Sinai Congregation since 2010. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and received his rabbinic ordination and a Master of Arts in Hebrew letters from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati in 2004.
Har Sinai Congregation to hold Executive Professional Networking Group happy hour
The Executive Professional Networking Group at Har Sinai Congregation will hold a happy hour for professionals from 5:30 to 7 p.m. July 16. The event will take place at The Grill at Harryman House, at 340 Main St. in Reisterstown. The happy hour is free, and will include a free drink and appetizers. The networking group aims to bring the community together to create positive working relationships for skilled professionals.
