(Dec. 20) Rep. Donna F. Edwards offered a resolution on the House floor Tuesday that would disapprove of Florida GOP Rep. Allen West for telling reporters recently that Nazi propagandists would be proud of the Democrats' "propaganda machine."
Reading from the resolution, the Prince George's County Democrat called comments by the Tea Party conservative "offensive" and said they diminish the memory of Jews killed in the Holocaust. The House voted 231-188 to table the resolution.
West told reporters recently that if Joseph Goebbels was around the Nazi propagandist would "be very proud of the Democrat Party, because they have an incredible propaganda machine."
