The death of a 1-year-old boy in Baltimore earlier this month has been ruled a homicide, city police said Friday.
Tyler Burgess was unresponsive and not breathing when officers were called to the 1300 block of N. Mount St. on Dec. 14, Baltimore City Police said. Crews were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead at University Hospital.
An autopsy revealed that Tyler was the victim of fentanyl poisoning.
