The Maryland Senate gave its unanimous approval Friday to four of Gov. Larry Hogan's appointees to his Cabinet.
Senators confirmed the nominations of Pete Rahn as secretary of transportation, Ben Grumbles as secretary of the environment, Kenneth C. Holt as secretary of housing and community development and Rona E. Kramer as secretary of aging.
The four were among five Cabinet appointees who appeared before the Senate Executive Nominations Committee Monday. A fifth, R. Michael Gill, had his nomination as secretary of business and economic development held up for a week by Sen. Joan Carter Conway, a Baltimore Democrat.
