Former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said Wednesday she has launched a consulting firm to advise politicians and businesses.

Called SRB & Associates, Rawlings-Blake's firm offers "strategic planning for businesses" and "campaign consulting for candidates." The firm is located at 4800 Roland Avenue in Roland Park, according to state records, and its website is http://srbandassociates.com.

Its resident agent is Philip Cronin, a laywer who works for the Harris Jones & Malone lobbying firm. Owner Lisa Harris Jones is a longtime friend of Rawlings-Blake's.

In an interview last month with The Baltimore Sun, Rawlings-Blake said she was joining a professional speakers group and planned to fight to keep her leadership position with the National Democratic Committee.

The mayor also has worked as a political analyst for ABC News.

She is listed as a featured speaker with a national organization, WME-IMG Speakers, which features dozens of high-profile figures. Rawlings-Blake is billed as a recommended speaker on crisis leadership, including how to deal with "multiple natural disasters, social crises and economic challenges."

As a speaker on women in leadership, she would share lessons on "balancing ambition and accountability in a male-dominated world," according to the group's website.
