President Barack Obama will address Senate Democrats gathered in Baltimore next week for their annual retreat, the White House said Friday.
Democrats announced this week that they will hold the meeting in downtown Baltimore on Wednesday and Thursday. The private meetings give lawmakers a chance to discuss strategy and messaging for the year ahead.
Obama will be in Baltimore on Thursday.
The president spoke to the Senate Democrats when they met in Annapolis in 2013, though the address was closed to the public and reporters.
