A farm in Maryland has declared the state #HoganStrong in a rather unique way.
Lawyer's Farm in Thurmont has converted its corn maze in tribute to the state and Gov. Larry Hogan, who is battling cancer.
In a Facebook post, the farm's management called the design of its corn mazes "Maryland Pride."
The Facebook post continued: "It also features Governor Hogan and "#HoganStrong" as we are planning on donating this year's fundraising day proceeds to the American Cancer Society in honor of Governor Hogan, our father Jan, and those who are fighting and have fought cancer."
The post, which went up on Monday, had been shared more than 1,600 times as of Wednesday morning.
The farm also will host a fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 1.
In an interview with The Daily Record, farm manager Taylor Huffman said: "We really wanted to do something that would show Maryland pride and bring more attention to our effort to raise money for cancer awareness."
