Former Prince George's County State's Attorney Glenn Ivey will report raising more than $275,000 in his bid for Maryland's 4th Congressional District, his campaign announced Monday -- becoming the first in the race to reveal fundraising numbers.

The campaigns in Maryland are providing the first glimpse of their fundraising activity in the second quarter ahead of Wednesday's deadline to file more complete reports with the Federal Election Commission.

Ivey expects to have $320,000 in the bank.

"I am very grateful for the strong and early grassroots support our campaign for Congress has received," Ivey said in a statement. "In under four months we have raised nearly $400,000 from folks who are embracing our message of expanding economic opportunity for all Marylanders."

Ivey reported raising $117,000 in the first quarter.

Ivey is part of a large field of candidates running to replace Rep. Donna F. Edwards, the Prince George's County Democrat who is seeking the Senate seat that will be left open in 2017 by retiring Sen. Barbara A. Mikulski. Former Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown, Dels. Dereck E. Davis and Joseline Peña-Melnyk, former County Council member Ingrid M. Turner and former candidate Warren Christopher are also seeking the Democratic nomination.

None of the other candidates disclosed their second quarter fundraising numbers.

The 4th District is based in Prince George's County but, since the 2011 redistricting, it also includes portions of Anne Arundel County.

Corrected: An earlier version of this item included numbers from Del. Joseline Peña-Melnyk that did not reflect fundraising in the second quarter but rather the first two quarters of the year.
