Gov.-elect Larry Hogan is traveling to Florida Tuesday for the annual conference of the Republican Governors Association.

Hogan is expected to speak at several events during the four-day gathering of the GOP governors, who are coming off a highly successful election in which Hogan's victory over Democrat Anthony G. Brown was one of their highlights.

The Florida trip will be Hogan's second out-of-state jaunt in the past week. Over the weekend, he was in Colorado for National Governors Association seminar for incoming state chief executives -- a nonpartisan event he said was particularly informative.

According to Hogan's campaign, his schedule this week will include additional seminars on such topics as health care, emergency responses and improving a state's business climate.
