After two rounds of intensive chemotherapy, Gov. Larry Hogan is flaunting his new bald look.
Hogan's press office released a photo Tuesday in which the governor shows off his altered appearance -- the result of his cancer treatments.
"It looks like there is another white dome in the Annapolis State House!" Hogan wrote in a Facebook posting. "Thanks to my treatments, I'm sporting a new aerodynamic look. I'm saving time not having to wash or comb my hair, and I don't even need to shave my face! The First Lady says I'm still sexy. I may be losing hair follicles, but I'm winning the battle as we kill cancer cells like crazy. So yes - the new look is a bit of a shock at first, but to me, bald is beautiful!"
Hogan announced last month that he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. At the time, he said doctors had told him that his prognosis was good but that he was likely to lose his hair. Last week he spent five days at University of Maryland hospital for his second round of chemotherapy.
