State lawmakers converge in Annapolis each year for their annual 90-day General Assembly session. Sometimes the days fly by, while at other times the session can seem to drag in an endless rotation of floor sessions and committee hearings. Everyone does their work with an eye on the calendar: How many days are left? Is there enough time for a certain bill to pass? Many staffers even have calendars that count down the days left in the session. I'm passing the time with a photo project, posting on a fresh picture for each day that I work on Instagram
. I include a notation of which day it is during the session, and sometimes a short caption. I take each picture fresh each day, so I can often be found wandering the State House complex in the morning in search of a unique picture. April 10 is Day 90/90 — or Sine Die.
