Critters honorable mention

Rob Lynch is second place winner for his sunflower photo with two "critters" shot with a Nikon D610, and fisheye lens at f10, 1/200 sec and ISO 100. Photographer Algerina Perna critiques, "The Sun gets many sunflower submissions for various contests. The bumblebee zooming in at left with the skipper butterfly at the flower's center puts this image in front of the pack. Also, the extreme wide-angle lens makes the sunflower appear larger than life and offers a closeup perspective in this interesting off-center composition."
