Summer crops honorable mention

Second place winner is Marilyn Gould for her photo of a cabbage from her husband's garden at Double Rock Community Garden after a rainfall. Perna comments, "Shooting at a relatively close range highlights the texture of the cabbage leaves while still being far enough away from the cabbage to get a sense of its rounded shape. The water droplets on both the cabbage and the spider web add another interesting detail to the beautifully composed photograph. In this case, the even light allows the eye to travel over the whole photograph and appreciate the shapes and leaf texture. "
