The winner of the week's Reader Sunshot's theme "Classic Cars" is Mary Braman with her photo of a classic 1950s Chevrolet convertible being used as a taxi in Havana, Cuba. The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 60D. Braman writes, "I had heard there were lots of old American Cars in Cuba, but I had no idea that there were thousands. The folks who keep them in perfect shape and use them as taxis are probably some of the most affluent people in a very poor country." Baltimore Sun photo editor Jerry Jackson comments, "We had a lot of submissions from vintage car shows but Havana is the ultimate car show with about 60,000 pre-1959 American cars still in use. The photo is nicely composed with the warm tones of the taxi and the trees contrasting the blue of the building on the left."
